It is midday and we have been awake since 3:15am this morning and it is very hot and sticky outside. We have arrived in Iquitos this morning on a very early flight from Lima. re: Cuzco and the sacred valleyClaire Great story. Did you know that Chris and I also did this very hike in 2008? It sounds as though your tour company was so much better though. I think we camped at the same spots mostly, from your descriptions. It will be great to catch up about this. Some photos of our trek are on my FB if u want to take a look, might be familiar.
