I have now progressed two days from Hanoi. I have ridden quite exactly 200 km from there. Depending on the source I have something in the order of 450 km to go to Hue. Today I had my first puncture during this tour. Luckily the puncture happened in front of a bicycle repair shop so I had to walk the bike only about 50 m. The cost of tire repair was 10 000 Dong, about 40 euro cents.

I am now in a small place called Tinh Gia. Tomorrow i plan to ride to Vinh, or a little bit further, There I should be roughly half way between Hanoi and Hue. According to my tourist map there are several tourism locations in the vicinity of Vinh. It is to be seen if I have energy to go to see them.

Today I was riding quite close to the coast, but unfortunately I have not seen the sea yet. According to my map there should be even some beaches on the way during next few days.
